Davido, Cubana Chief Priest Visit Akpabio

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, paid a courtesy visit to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, at his Abuja office on Thursday.
The visit, which was also attended by nightlife businessman and celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chiefpriest, has sparked widespread interest online.
According to a video shared by Cubana Chiefpriest on Instagram, the visit appeared to be a cordial and informal meeting between the trio.
In the video, Senator Akpabio is seen engaging in conversation with Davido and his team, while holding a document that was not specified.
The Senate President later posed for photos with the singer and Cubana Chiefpriest, further fueling speculation about the purpose of the visit.
While the details of the meeting remain unclear, Cubana Chiefpriest’s caption accompanying the video offered a glimpse into the motivation behind the visit.
The nightlife businessman urged his followers to surround themselves with individuals who embody their future aspirations.
“Try as much as possible to get close to people who look exactly like your future. Abuja nights with Naija 003. Person wey get OBO too get power,” he added, referencing Davido’s popular moniker, “OBO” (Omo Baba Olowo), which translates to “son of a rich man” in Yoruba.
Regardless of the motivations behind the visit, it is clear that Davido’s influence extends far beyond the music industry.
As one of Africa’s most successful and influential artists, his endorsement and support can have a significant impact on various sectors, including politics and entertainment.
