APC Adopts Tinubu as Sole Standard Bearer of the Party in 2027

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election, paving the way for his second term as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The endorsement was made at the APC National Summit, which was attended by top party leaders, including the Chairman of the All Progressive Governors Forum, Governor Hope Uzodinma, and the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum.

In his address, Governor Uzodinma commended President Tinubu for his strong leadership, which has made the APC a toast to the nation.

He praised the President’s vision for sustainable economic growth and his unmatched infrastructural blueprint for Nigeria.

The Governor also acknowledged the challenges ahead but expressed confidence that the party will remain steadfast, focused, and committed to its principles and values.

He assured Nigerians that they will see the dividends of the party’s efforts in their everyday lives.

Other speakers at the summit, including the Secretary of the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, also praised President Tinubu’s leadership and vision for Nigeria.

The summit was attended by top government officials, including the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

In his address, George Akume thanked the leadership of the party for the opportunity to reflect, celebrate, and re-energize their collective journey towards a greater Nigeria.

He extended his appreciation to the party’s leadership, from the national executives to state and geopolitical leaders, as well as the Governors, National Assembly, and Federal Executive Council.

The endorsement of President Tinubu as the sole candidate for the APC is seen as a significant development in the country’s political landscape, and it is expected to have a major impact on the 2027 presidential election.

The endorsement of President Tinubu has been widely welcomed by party members and supporters, who see it as a significant boost to the party’s chances in the 2027 presidential election.

However, some opposition parties have expressed concerns about the implications of the endorsement, citing the need for a more competitive and inclusive electoral process.

As the country looks ahead to the 2027 presidential election, the endorsement of President Tinubu as the sole candidate for the APC is likely to be a major talking point in the coming months.
