Law Enforcement Cracks Down on Crime in Anambra State

A recent series of joint operations conducted by the police and vigilante groups in Anambra State has resulted in the apprehension of multiple suspects involved in armed robbery, vandalism, and terrorism.

 

The crackdown, which took place across the state’s three senatorial zones, has led to the recovery of stolen goods and deadly weapons.

 

According to authorities, the security team’s efforts have been particularly successful in the Anambra South Senatorial District, where several individuals have been taken into custody for their alleged roles in armed robbery and vandalism.

 

The police have also seized a significant amount of vandalized electric cables and a firearm, highlighting the severity of the crimes committed.

 

The police command has launched a manhunt for a notorious individual known as “Kiss me,” who is believed to be a key figure in the criminal underworld. Additionally, the authorities have arrested several suspects in connection with the vandalism of electrical wires at a federal polytechnic institution.
