Air Force Bombs Bello Turji’s Close Lieutenant, in Major Military Gain

Alhaji Shaudo Alku, a key ally of notorious terrorist leader Bello Turji, has been confirmed killed in an airstrike conducted by the Air Component of Operation Fasan Yama.

The strike, which took place on May 18, 2025, targeted terrorists near Tunfa Primary School in Isa LGA, Sokoto State.

According to reports, Alku was invited from Niger Republic for a meeting with Turji and other terrorist commanders. However, the meeting turned out to be a fatal one for Alku, as he died alongside several other men and unconfirmed commanders in the airstrike.

The elimination of Alku is a significant blow to Turji’s terrorist network, as he was a key ally and strategist.

The development is part of ongoing efforts by the military to disrupt terrorist operations in the region and degrade their capacity to carry out attacks.

The airstrike is a testament to the military’s commitment to combating terrorism in the region.

The operation is part of a broader strategy to identify and eliminate terrorist leaders and their networks, and to disrupt their ability to carry out attacks.
