Missing Jumoke George”s Daughter Found in Mali After Four Years

Adeola, the Missing 41-year-old daughter of fellow Jumoke George, has been found in Mali after four years, Nollywood actress , Nicola Bayo has said.

However, despite being located, Adeola has not spoken with her mother and is reportedly not picking up calls, causing concerns for Jumoke’s well-being.

According to Biola, who has been closely following the case, Adeola was found to be working in Mali, where she had traveled in search of better opportunities.

The investigation, led by the CRC, revealed that Adeola had left Nigeria voluntarily, seeking a better life abroad.

In an Instagram post, Biola wrote, “UPDATE! Adeola has been spotted in Mali. Though she hasn’t spoken with her mom yet, please tell her to call her. She’s currently in the hospital, but she will be happy to speak with her at least. I’ve tried calling her, but she has not been picking up anyone’s calls, and her mom is really worried.”

Jumoke George, a veteran actress, has been facing immense challenges over the past six years. She has been homeless, living in a church after being evicted from her apartment due to unaffordable rent.

The church’s matriarch has been kind enough to provide her with food and basic necessities.

The disappearance of her daughter, Adeola, has added to Jumoke’s woes. Adeola had briefly contacted her mother four years ago, stating that she was traveling abroad for better opportunities, but nothing has been heard from her since.

Jumoke has since taken on the responsibility of caring for Adeola’s children in her absence.

Biola Bayo, who has been advocating for Jumoke’s case, expressed concern for the actress’s well-being, stating that Jumoke is currently hospitalized but will be overjoyed if Adeola contacts her.

“Jumoke is a strong woman, but this has taken a toll on her. She’s been through so much, and the thought of not being able to speak with her daughter is heartbreaking,” Biola said.

The CRC has confirmed that they are working to establish communication between Adeola and her mother, but so far, Adeola has not responded to calls or messages.

The organization has urged Adeola to reach out to her mother, citing Jumoke’s poor health and emotional distress.

As the news of Adeola’s discovery spreads, fans and colleagues of Jumoke George are sending messages of support and encouragement, hoping that Adeola will soon reach out to her mother. The incident has highlighted the challenges faced by many Nigerians who seek better opportunities abroad, often leaving behind loved ones and facing uncertain futures.
