Plateau Will Reclaim Its Lost Glory, Declares Pastor Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has expressed confidence that Plateau State will overcome its challenges and reclaim its lost glory.

He made this declaration during the 2025 interdenominational service marking the conclusion of the RCCG Northern Region Ministers and Workers Conference, held at the RCCG Northern Camp Ground in Kassa, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area.

Addressing the congregation on the theme “Divine Manifestation,” Pastor Adeboye emphasized that the forces of darkness cannot overcome light, encouraging the people of Plateau State to remain steadfast in prayer and faith despite their struggles.

“The forces of darkness cannot overcome light. We must believe that Plateau State will rise again. Its glory will be restored, and its days of mourning will come to an end,” Pastor Adeboye declared.

The revered pastor reassured the crowd that despite the state’s ongoing security challenges, there is hope for a brighter future, promising that the period of hardship would soon give way to peace and prosperity.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang, who attended the service, welcomed Pastor Adeboye’s message as a significant and hopeful turning point for the state.

He expressed his belief that the spiritual intervention would herald a new era of peace and development for the troubled region.

“Your coming is very symbolic. Before your arrival, the narrative about Plateau State was that it is a no-go area, but we believe in God that the days of mourning in Plateau State are over,” Mutfwang said.

The governor’s remarks underscored the state government’s commitment to restoring stability and fostering unity among its diverse communities.

The event attracted a diverse audience, including former governors Senator Jonah Jang and Senator Joshua Dariye, along with religious leaders from various denominations, reflecting the deep desire for peace and reconciliation in the state.

Prayers for Plateau State’s restoration, unity, and progress filled the air as thousands joined Pastor Adeboye in seeking divine intervention for the region.

Pastor Adeboye’s message resonated strongly with many in attendance, offering a renewed sense of purpose and hope for Plateau’s residents.

He urged them to work together, regardless of ethnic or religious backgrounds, to rebuild their communities and reclaim the state’s lost glory.

As the conference concluded, attendees left with a renewed commitment to peace, unity, and faith, holding onto the promise that brighter days lie ahead for Plateau State.
