Winners Emerge in Lagos APC Ahead of Local Government Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its chairmanship primaries across the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State.

 

The exercise, which was conducted ahead of the upcoming local government elections, saw the emergence of winners in each of the councils.

 

According to official results obtained, the following candidates have been confirmed as winners in their respective councils:

 

1. Ejigbo: Taoheed Taiwo

2. Lagos Island-East: Muibi Alade

3. Amuwo Odofin: Sanusi Ismail

4. Ojo: Rufai Muibat

5. Lagos Island: Taiwo Oyekan

6. Ikorodu-North: Wale Ameen

7. Eti-Osa East: Samsideen Agunbiade

8. Badagry: Hunkpe Babatunde

9. Epe: Sura Olayemi Animashaun

10. Ifako-Ijaiye: Usman Hamzat

11. Igbogbo-Baiyeku: Olalekan Aroyewu

12. Ojokoro: Rossini Oluyemisi

13. Kosofe: Moyosore Ogunlewe

14. Ajeromi-Ifelodun: Akindipe Olamilekan

15. Ifelodun: Okeowo Oluremi

16. Isolo: Olasoju Adebayo Babatunde

17. Ibeju-Lekki: Sesan Olowa

18. Ikosi-Ejirin: Anomo Adewale

19. Badagry-West: Ibrahim Rauf

20. Ikoyi-Obalende: Bola Oladunjoye

The APC leadership has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the primaries and has urged all party members to remain committed and united as the campaign for the main elections begins.

 

With the conclusion of the primaries, the stage is now set for the local government elections, which are expected to be highly contested.
