Former Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan Dumps PDP, Joins APC

Former Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The move was formalized on Monday at his residence in Warri GRA, where he received his APC membership card.

Uduaghan was welcomed into the party by key stakeholders, including the APC Delta South Women Leader, Alero Tenumah, and other leaders from the ward and local government levels.

The former governor expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and pledged to work closely with the party to advance the interests of Delta State.

In a show of solidarity, Uduaghan’s daughter, Ms. Orode Uduaghan, who is the Delta State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services and Child Development, also picked up her APC membership card from the ward leadership.

Tenumah encouraged other new members to collect their APC cards and contribute actively to the party’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Tinubu and the “M.O.R.E Agenda” of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

She assured Uduaghan of a productive partnership aimed at strengthening the party in Warri North LGA and across the state.

Uduaghan’s defection to the APC is seen as a significant boost to the party’s fortunes in Delta State. The former governor’s decision is expected to have a positive impact on the party’s chances in future elections, particularly in the Warri North LGA.

The APC has been working to strengthen its presence in Delta State, and Uduaghan’s joining is a major coup for the party.

The former governor’s experience and influence are expected to be valuable assets to the party as it seeks to make inroads in the state.

With Uduaghan on board, the APC is poised to make a strong showing in future elections in Delta State.

The party’s leadership has welcomed Uduaghan and his daughter, and is looking forward to working with them to advance the party’s interests in the state.
