Anambra Traditional Rulers Confer ‘Dike Si Mba’ Title on President Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been honored with the traditional chieftaincy title “Dike Si Mba Anambra” by the collective of Anambra State’s traditional rulers.
The title, which translates to “Hero from Another Land,” was conferred during a grand ceremony at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, marking a significant moment in the President’s one-day working visit to the southeastern state.
The conferment was led by Igwe Chidubem Iweka III, Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, representing all 179 communities in the state. Igwe Iweka highlighted that the title acknowledges President Tinubu’s contributions to national development, his leadership in fostering unity, and his commitment to Nigeria’s progress.
“This is a title from all the royal fathers in the 179 communities of Anambra State. It acknowledges your good works across the country,” Igwe Iweka said during the ceremony.
The “Dike Si Mba” title is a rare and significant honor, typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service beyond their immediate communities.
As part of his visit, President Tinubu also commissioned several landmark projects initiated by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, including:

These projects are part of Governor Soludo’s broader efforts to enhance infrastructure, promote education, and create sustainable economic opportunities in the state.
In his acceptance speech, President Tinubu expressed gratitude for the honor, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration in building a stronger Nigeria.
“We will continue to be brothers; we are one family, a single family, diverse, living in the same house called Nigeria,” he said.
He pledged continued collaboration between the federal government and Anambra State, promising to support infrastructure development, economic growth, and job creation.
The ceremony was attended by a wide array of dignitaries, including:
