Fuji Meastro, King Sunny Ade Responds to Kidnap Allegation, Says it’s not True

Fuji icon, King Sunny Ade has released a video to dispel rumors of his alleged kidnap.

In a series of posts on her Instagram page, Damilola alleged that her father’s Manager, Dayo Adegeye, who is also King Sunny Ade’s son, may be responsible for his disappearance.

She suggested that her father may be under undue influence, prompting speculation about his whereabouts and well-being.

However, in a video posted on social media, King Sunny Ade categorically denied the kidnapping rumors, stating that he was simply on a holiday and had not been in touch with his children.

“My children wanted to see me, they thought I was kidnapped after I went away for a few days to rest,” he explained. “But I thank God, I was not kidnapped and I didn’t kidnap myself.”

The legendary musician, known as the “King of World Beats,” thanked his fans for their support and reassured them that he is safe and sound. His statement has brought relief to his fans and family members, who had been anxiously waiting for news about his whereabouts.

Earlier, King Sunny Ade’s manager, Dayo Adegeye, had issued a statement denying the kidnapping rumors and assuring the public that the musician was safe. “There is no truth to the kidnapping rumor, and we are taking appropriate steps to address the situation and identify those responsible for spreading this false information,” he said.

Adegeye, who is also King Sunny Ade’s son, emphasized that the Adegeye family and the musician’s team were working together to put an end to the rumors and protect his reputation.
