Bishop David Abioye Begins Sunday Morning Church Services Starting May 4, 2025

Bishop David Abioye, former Vice President of Living Faith Church Worldwide (popularly known as Winners Chapel), has officially announced that his ministry will begin holding Sunday services in the morning starting from Sunday, May 4, 2025.

This move marks a notable change from the evening services which have been held at 5:00 PM at the Los Angeles Mall in Kado, Abuja, since the launch of his independent ministry. Bishop Abioye made the announcement during the evening service on Sunday, April 27, 2025, with the congregation responding enthusiastically.

In a video shared by Church Gist, Bishop Abioye said:

“Very important information. From next Sunday by the grace of God, our service is migrating to morning. Hallelujah. And the time is 8 a.m. God bless you mightily in Jesus’ name.”

The decision to transition to a morning schedule is seen as strategic, allowing greater accessibility for worshippers and aligning the ministry’s operations with the more traditional worship hours common across churches in Nigeria. The announcement was met with loud applause, excitement, and expressions of support from members in attendance.

Since his retirement from his role at Winners Chapel in October 2024, Bishop Abioye has continued to pursue his vision in ministry independently. His services have been steadily attracting a growing congregation in Abuja, and the shift to morning services is expected to further boost attendance.

Social media reactions to the announcement have been largely positive, with many praising the move as timely and spiritually significant.

Further updates about Bishop Abioye’s ministry and service times can be found on his official social media platforms.
