US-Based Prof Mgbeke Accuses Senator Natasha Akpoti of Deception, Political Manipulation in Explosive Callout
A United States-based Nigerian, Sandra Duru, widely known as Prof Mgbeke, has accused Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of weaponizing gender advocacy for personal and political gain.
In a strongly worded statement shared across social media, Prof Mgbeke, a former Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) official and gender equality advocate, outlined what she claims is a manipulative campaign orchestrated by Senator Akpoti to target political opponents and destabilize national structures under the guise of activism.
Prof Mgbeke’s callout centers around the claim that Senator Akpoti’s activism is not motivated by genuine justice for women, but rather by a political agenda aimed at self-promotion, revenge, and undermining the government.
Mgbeke recounted a conversation with Akpoti where the Senator allegedly admitted her goal was to “dismantle the Yoruba government” and claimed that if Godswill Akpabio (Senate President) fell, the All Progressives Congress (APC) would crumble. Mgbeke also accused Akpoti of orchestrating disruptive actions within Nigerian political processes by manipulating key figures such as Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, FIDA, and Mrs. Abiola, to derail public hearings within the Nigerian Senate.
In addition, Mgbeke claimed that Akpoti sought to spread unsubstantiated allegations, including the accusation that the Senate President was involved in organ harvesting and linked to the tragic death of Ini Umoren.
According to Mgbeke, Akpoti openly mocked the Nigerian people for being “gullible and hungry” while promoting false narratives to the international media.
Mgbeke revealed that she was approached by a senior political figure to align with Akpoti’s agenda, but she firmly rejected the request. Instead, Mgbeke claimed she offered advice and even proposed a reconciliation process to ease political tensions.
However, Akpoti allegedly refused and turned to threats when her attempts to escalate the situation were blocked.
Mgbeke also recounted private conversations where Akpoti allegedly plotted against her political adversaries, speaking disparagingly of her former husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan, as well as her former boyfriend, Nsima, and other individuals she reportedly manipulated for personal and political advantage.
Prof Mgbeke has vowed to reveal three solid pieces of evidence in an upcoming live broadcast, including voice recordings, forensic voice analyses, and details of their first conversation. She emphasized that while she will hold back sensitive personal details for now, these revelations may be shared if the situation demands legal action.
Mgbeke’s decision to take the matter to the public is a bold one, with her declaring that she has nothing to gain financially or politically from this move. She clarified that her actions were inspired by divine guidance and a commitment to truth, integrity, and the protection of the Nigerian people from what she describes as a dangerous political game.
As news of this explosive accusation spreads, Nigerians have been left divided. Some are calling for immediate investigations into the claims, while others question the motivations behind Prof Mgbeke’s statements.
The promise of hard evidence and audio recordings has sparked intense speculation, with many eagerly awaiting the live broadcast that Mgbeke has promised to announce soon.
While the full impact of these revelations remains to be seen, if proven true, they could have severe political repercussions for Senator Natasha Akpoti, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics who has previously been known for her activism in the areas of gender equality and social justice.
Mgbeke’s accusations cast a dark shadow over the nature of Nigerian politics, with questions arising about the authenticity of certain public figures who use activism as a platform for political maneuvering. With powerful evidence allegedly on the horizon, the coming days could bring even more shocking truths to light.
For now, Nigerians and political watchers alike will be waiting for Mgbeke’s live session, where she promises to unveil the truth behind the accusations and present evidence that could change the course of this already controversial political battle.
