Senator Kwankwaso Holds Closed-Door Meeting with President Tinubu’s Ally, Wamakko, Amidst Defection Rumours 

 

 

In a surprise move, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential running mate, paid a visit to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, a close ally of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at his Asokoro residence in Abuja.

 

The meeting, which was held behind closed doors, has sparked intense speculation about the possible defection of Senator Kwankwaso to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
