The Conference aims to address the opportunities and challenges within the rapidly expanding digital landscape of the continent, with a specific emphasis on ensuring that the growth is inclusive and benefits all segments of society.

Under the theme, “AI and Africa’s Digital Economy: Leaving No One Behind,” the conference will delve into the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its role in shaping Africa’s economic future.

Discussions will center on strategies for digital infrastructure expansion, enhancing financial inclusion through digital solutions, the ethical adoption of AI, data governance frameworks, and the critical importance of cybersecurity in a connected Africa.

Organizers highlight the urgency of bridging the digital divide, particularly in rural communities where internet access remains significantly limited.

The conference will explore actionable solutions to increase connectivity and ensure that all Africans can participate in and benefit from the growing digital economy, which is projected to contribute significantly to the continent’s GDP in the coming years.

The conference is expected to feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and an innovation exhibition showcasing cutting-edge solutions from startups and global tech companies.

Networking sessions will also provide a platform for startups to connect with investors and development agencies.

Organizers have called on governments, private sector leaders, development organizations, investors, and academics to participate in AFDEIC 2025 as partners, exhibitors, and sponsors, emphasizing the unique opportunity to shape a digitally inclusive future for Africa.
