Bauchi Announces Resumption of Schools Closed for Ramadan

 

The Bauchi State Ministry of Education has officially announced the resumption date for schools in the state after a five-week Ramadan break.

 

According to a statement released by the ministry’s information and public relations officer, Jalaludeen Usman, both day and boarding schools will reopen on Sunday, April 6, to continue the second term.

 

The statement serves as a reminder to parents and guardians of the resumption date, which was earlier announced by the ministry.

 

The Commissioner for Education, Dr. Lawal Mohammed Rimin Zayam, emphasized the importance of education in the state and assured that the ministry was committed to ensuring the success of all students.

 

The Bauchi State Government, under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed, has made education a top priority. The ministry is dedicated to providing a conducive learning environment and empowering students to excel in all examinations sponsored by the state government.

 

To achieve this, the ministry will soon commence JAMB CBT training for all sponsored JAMB students, equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed in their exams.

This includes purchasing necessary school materials, ensuring their children’s uniforms are in good condition, and making transportation arrangements for their children to and from school.
