*ManUnited Boss, Amorim Insists Fernandes Not Departing Amid Real Madrid Speculation*

Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has been the centre of talks regarding a move to Real Madrid, but Red Devils boss, Ruben Amorim has outrightly dismissed the speculations, insisting that the Portuguese midfielder is not going anywhere.
Fernandes has been one of Premier League’s most consistent performers in recent times, despite Manchester United’s problems with consistency and stability. The 30-year-old is said to be keen to win big titles and is open to leaving Old Trafford to fulfill his dreams.
Real Madrid, who are looking to reinforce their midfield ahead of next season, have been said to be interested in making a move for Fernandes.
But Amorim has moved to stamp on the speculation, with Fernandes insisting that he is an integral part of his plans and will not be departing the club this summer. “No, it’s not going to happen,” Amorim said, when asked if Fernandes would be making a move to Real Madrid.
Amorim also reacted to Fernandes’ dream of winning titles by stating: “That is the challenge. I want Bruno here because we want to win the Premier League again, so we want the best players. He’s 30 but still so fit, plays 55 games every season, and between assists and goals, he’s there for 30 at least, so he’s not going anywhere.”
Manchester United boss confirmed that the club is in charge of the situation and that Fernandes is happy at Old Trafford. “Sometimes, the frustration that everyone sees and maybe say is not a good thing about a captain, but it is a sign he is so hungry for this success,” Amorim said. “He is not leaving because I have already told him.”
Fernandes has been in excellent nick for Manchester United this season, and he will be keen to deliver once again as the Red Devils set off in search of glory in the Europa League. United resume action tonight in the Premier League, with the visitors being Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
