Daddy Freeze Jumps on The Moving Train, Hails Tinubu Policies

Nigerian online personality, Daddy Freeze has shared optimistic views about Nigeria’s prospects under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In an exclusive interview with Nigeria Info FM in Lagos, he acknowledged his earlier doubts but noted some positive developments during Tinubu’s administration.
Daddy Freeze stated that while Nigeria faces a multitude of entrenched issues, he believes that the Tinubu government is beginning to tackle some of these critical challenges. He highlighted the transformation of the power sector as a significant area that has renewed his hope for the nation’s future.
He likened Nigeria’s current situation to an overloaded vehicle with a malfunctioning engine, suggesting that such circumstances require careful navigation over time to restore functionality.
He emphasized that while there is a natural desire among Nigerians for swift solutions, the intricate nature of the country’s problems necessitates patience.
“Meaningful change requires time,” he remarked. “Despite the urge for instant results, I remain hopeful that President Tinubu’s leadership will bring long-lasting improvements.”
His comments come at a time when many Nigerians are eager to see positive changes in their lives, including economic recovery, job creation, and infrastructure enhancements. Nonetheless, Daddy Freeze believes that the groundwork has been set for a brighter future under President Tinubu.
His support reflects a growing trend among Nigerians expressing renewed confidence in the current administration. Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has also commended President Tinubu for rebuilding Nigeria’s international reputation and for achievements like lifting the UAE visa ban, which he asserts have bolstered national confidence.
However, there are contrasting opinions. Catholic priest Rev. Fr. Chinenye Oluoma has criticized the focus on “hope” without addressing the pressing challenges that Nigerians encounter daily. He insists that while hope is important, the government must prioritize concrete solutions such as job creation and economic stability to enhance the lives of everyday citizens.
Rev. Fr. Oluoma cautioned that relying solely on abstract notions of “hope” could lead to public disillusionment if it is not accompanied by real action. “Nigerians are seeking genuine change, not mere promises,” he asserted.
As President Tinubu’s term progresses, citizens remain divided in their evaluations of his leadership. Some, including notable figures like Daddy Freeze and Femi Fani-Kayode, express cautious optimism, while others like Rev. Fr. Chinenye Oluoma advocate for immediate, tangible progress.
In a nation grappling with years of political and economic challenges, the coming years will reveal whether President Tinubu can convert hope into meaningful, sustainable reform for the Nigerian populace.
As discussions continue, the public eagerly awaits to see if the current administration will fulfill the high expectations surrounding it in addressing the country’s most pressing issues.
