Doubters Remain Silent in Defeat as a “Corp Member” Exhibits Remarkable Integrit

In an extraordinary act of integrity and honesty, a youth corper has returned an excess allowance of 700,000 Naira, leading to widespread admiration and praise from Nigerians.

Reports indicate that the corps member discovered she had received 777,000 Naira instead of the usual 77,000 Naira monthly allowance. Rather than keep the surplus, she chose to inform the appropriate authorities about the mistake.

In an admirable decision, she intends to visit the police station, her Local Government Inspector’s (LGI) office, and her bank to report the incident and return the excess funds.

“I don’t want to be accused of fraud or embezzlement,” she stated in a viral video. “This act of mine should set a good example for my fellow corps members.”

Her actions have garnered significant appreciation from Nigerians, many of whom took to social media to recognize her honesty and integrity. Numerous individuals have called for her to receive a reward for her commendable behavior, while others have encouraged fellow corps members to follow her lead.

“This is the type of behavior we need to see more often in Nigeria,” one commenter remarked under the video. “Her actions show that there are still honest and integrity-driven people in our society. We should all aspire to be like her.”

Her conduct has elicited many responses from Nigerians, with most referring to her as a “shining example” of the principles the scheme seeks to instill in young Nigerians. “Her actions reflect the integrity and honesty we anticipate from our corps members. We hope her example will motivate others to follow suit.”

As news of this corps member’s integrity spreads, many are advocating for her to be recognized and rewarded for her honesty. While some have proposed that she be given a special award or acknowledgment, others have suggested considering her for a scholarship or grant to further her education.

For her, however, the reward is not about personal gain, but about being a positive example for others. “I just want to demonstrate that we can be honest and uphold integrity, even when we face temptations,” she commented. “I hope my fellow corps members will take my example to heart and consistently do the right thing, even when no one is watching.”
