No Shaking, Tinubu’s Second Term a Foregone Conclusion, Says Akpabio

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term in office is assured.

This statement was made at a special Iftar dinner organized by the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) in Abuja.

Akpabio expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would retain power in the 2027 elections.

These statements come amidst ongoing political discussions and preparations for the 2027 elections and reports of APC leaders rallying support for Tinubu’s potential second-term bid.

It is also apparent that party members are working to solidify the party, and ensure that they are in a strong position for the upcoming elections.

The event where Akpabio made these remarks was aimed at fostering unity among APC members, including governors, National Assembly members, and other key figures.

The event was used as a platform to show a united front, and to express confidence in the current administrations performance.

Part of the message being put forward by those supporting president Tinubu, is that the current economic policies being executed, are beginning to show positive results.
In essence, Akpabio is expressing strong confidence in the APC’s prospects for the 2027 elections and affirming his belief that President Tinubu will secure a second term.
