Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) to Honour Seyi Tinubu’s Philanthropy at 19th Convication

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, has concluded arrangements to honor Seyi Tinubu, the first son of President Bola Tinubu, at its 19th convocation ceremony, which comes up soon.

A total of 8,157 students will graduate in various fields.

Seyi Tinubu, a philanthropist and entrepreneur, will be recognized for his significant contribution to society, particularly his philanthropic activities.

One of his recent activities, a Ramadan outreach, has attracted both praise and criticism. The outreach, which was aimed at providing relief to poor communities throughout the month of Ramadan, highlighted his commitment to improving the well-being of needy Nigerians.

While some have praised his move as an act of selflessness and community consciousness, others condemned the political connotations of the venture in consideration of his connection with Nigeria’s first family.

Nevertheless, Tinubu’s commitment to philanthropy and welfare in society has been acknowledged, and UNIZIK’s move to honor him is a testament to its commitment to awarding individuals who made an impact.

The 19th convocation of the university will also see a large number of graduates with 8,157 students graduating in various disciplines. This is a big success for UNIZIK, showcasing its consistent growth and addition to the academic circle.

The convocation has all the trappings of a historic occasion, not only for the graduating students and their parents, but for the university as well, considering that it continues to be among Nigeria’s leading academic institutions.

As the ceremony approaches, many are looking forward to hearing more about the exclusive prizes and awards to be conferred on individuals like Seyi Tinubu, whose philanthropic activities have impacted Nigerian society.
