Media Mogul Insinuates Vested Interest in Natasha’s Bill on Ajaokuta.

Media Mogul and quasi politician Obiaruko Ndukwe has come lend her voice to the controversy surrounding the altercation between Senate President , Godswill Akpabio and Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, pointing out that her vested interest on the project may have led to the misunderstanding.

The socialite has in a television programme said that it was possible that Natasha’s sexual harassment allegations was her way of courting attention and sympathy .

To her, Natasha has shown uncommon interest Ajaokuta steel to the extent that it appears vested interests were pushing her on it or that she may have a personal interest having made presentation which appears beyond constituency interests.

Ndukwe recalled that Natasha had made presentations on corruption in the Ajaokuta Steel complex previously and hinted that vested interests could be at play.

“I think that’s really the big issue, and even the elder president, the senate itself, and Nigerian government must decide whose interest is being protected. Is it really the interest of the people of Kogi Central, or her interest, or the interest of some people who are powerful, maybe who have the interest to either take that seat, buy it, or whatever,” she wondered.

Ndukwe also considered the timing of Natasha’s complaint, adding that she had previously eulogized the Senate President on social media and had attempted to sit next to him at a birthday party and wondered when the disagreement stemmed from that led to the present misunderstanding.

“At what time did she notice that it was a sexual harassment when the man said whatever she claims the man said to her?” Ndukwe asked.

The senator’s comments have stoked an angry controversy over the sincerity of Natasha’s allegations and potential motivations behind them.

As the case is under investigation, one thing is definite: the Nigerian people demand evidence and transparency.
