Breaking News: Ezekwesili is seen as a social disturbance at the Senate Committee addressing the Natasha issue.

Former Minister and women’s rights advocate Dr. Oby Ezekwesili yesterday engaged in hot exchange of words with Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi from Ebonyi state over procedure for the conduct of the investigation at one of the Senate Committee rooms.
According to reports, Ezekwesili, who stormed the committee room with her team refused to swear to an oath before giving evidence, insisting on certain conditions being met first.
Her insistence was said to have miffed Nwebonyi who engaged her in a shouting match and they later abused each other while others tried to placate them.
Sources has confirmed that senate’s deemed Ezekwesili’s actions as disruptive and unbecoming.
The Senate Disciplinary Committee, which is responsible for maintaining order and discipline within the Senate, was taken aback by Ezekwesili’s sudden appearance and behavior.
Committee members attempted to restore order and asked Ezekwesili to leave the premises, but she reportedly refused to comply.
“It was a strange and unprecedented situation,” said a committee member, who wished to remain anonymous. “We’re not sure what motivated her to behave in such a manner, but we’re taking the incident seriously and will be reviewing the matter further.”
The incident has raised questions about security protocols and access to the Senate building, as well as the motivations behind Ezekwesili’s actions. Authorities are currently investigating the matter and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As the situation continues to unfold, the Senate has released a statement assuring the public that the incident is being taken seriously and that measures are being put in place to prevent similar disruptions in the future.
