Keep Ranting on Social Media While Governance Take Shape in Rivers State

Let us rant. So the River State Sole Administrator invited traditional rulers and they all attended that meeting. They shook hands and promised to work with the River State Sole Administrator to ensure peace in River State.
A FUBARA support group has also issued a statement welcoming the River State Sole Administrator for the sake of peace. Now, if we love peace so much in River State, why wasn’t the governor advised to embrace peace at whatever cost while he was governor? You know, when we try to analyze these things, some of you come out to shout, you’re biased, you’re one-sided. What has happened now? The same people who were keying behind the governor while he was fighting for his life, the same people who were clapping for the governor while he was speaking so angrily and pushing out threats, have all moved on.
Why didn’t the traditional rulers say, oh, we’re not going to attend the meeting, you must restore the governor? Now this is happening while other places in the country, and other prominent people in the country are all calling on the president to reverse his decision in River State to restore democracy and remove emergency rule. They are still beating the drum, trying to see if they can untwist the president to reverse his decision in River State. Whereas in
River State, the chiefs, the traditional rulers, and the FUBARA support group, have all moved on.
They have all embraced their faith. And so what were all the arguments and all the fights and all the political crises about? What were all those things about in the US in to first place? And they will all say that, yes, we are doing all of these things for the sake of peace in River State. So peace can be this important.
You know, when we said earlier that Governor FUBARA was being used by people who just wanted to benefit and enrich themselves, you were all shouting, oh, you have just been biased. So what does this tell you? What does this tell you right now? Because River State is calm. The day that a state of emergency was declared, everybody was running to their houses.
People were making calls, oh, go to your house, oh, the president has declared a state of emergency in River State. Oh, this, oh, that. The state is calm.
It’s like they pressed a reset button in River State and said, pop, just press the button. Everybody just went calm. So that means the noise was coming from how much the government house could push into the pockets of people who all wanted to continue to sit around the corridors of power and collect some good cash to enhance their lifestyle.
So where is the love for Governor FUBARA? Where is the love for him? Why is nobody calling for his reinstatement within the state? The same players, the same people who were supporting him, the same people who were attending events with him, the same people who were clapping for him when he was talking and issuing threats. Where are all those people? Why are they not speaking out? Why are they not calling for his reinstatement by all means? Why are they not doing that? It raises questions about loyalty and the nature of support in the political arena. Have they turned their backs on him out of fear, or have they simply found a new figure to rally behind?
